Technique: Diagonal Peyote    
Description: In this one day workshop we will explore the possibilities of sculpting in peyote stitch.The head and body are nothing less then two beaded beads stitched on top of each other. Of course there are some twists and turns to make the shapes just perfect and the colors just right, the birds feet and legs are embellished, the wings and tail stitched separately in Diagonal peyote stitch and then attached to the birds body. These tiny birds make a lovely pendant, brooch, or imagine it on a hair-clip, I am sure it would make Tippi Hedrin scream with delight.
