Peyote

It is no secret I love Italian architecture. The windows intrigue me whether large or small. Even the simplest of old homes has a lovely little window overlooking the garden or vineyard. The small window of a home I visit in naples was the inspiration for Tramuonto sul Mediterraneo (sunset over the Mediterranean)

I found some large open quatrefoil pieces and these are used as the base/frame for the focal piece. Now I know we could use CRAW to make a stand alone quatrefoil, but i love the look and drape of St. Petersburg chain (St. Pete's) and this stitch need a frame to support its structure.
