This necklace was inspired by the stained glass cathedral
windows in Europe. With a combination of bead embroidery and
beadweaving, some interesting techniques will be taught in
this class.
The main component is dimensional,
made by beading on many layers of beading foundation. The
smaller components are bezelled with a stack bead bezel. The
lower component is bead embroidery with a metal filigree
base.
Add in the beadwoven neckchain and the
completed necklace is a beautiful combination of color and
texture. This necklace is easy to tailor to your liking by
using all or just some of the components. You can also add
some of your own beads to alter the look of the main component.
