Description

There are several basic shapes that are used in making most wire jewelry.  They are used alone for some elements and in combination for others.  Master the basics and you can use them in numerous variations and combinations; everything from links, connectors and dangles to ear wires.  Working with various gauges of wire, we will review five basic shapes and consider how to use each one to make several different links or elements.  When you have completed the basics, several combination links will be reviewed.  You will be encouraged to think like a wire artist and improvise; making up your own link designs by combining the elements you have learned.  As we work with the shapes you will begin to design a bracelet, necklace or earrings – follow the samples or make your own creation.
