Using
the female form for most of his work, the Pre-Raphaelite
style of John Waterhouse (1849-1917) paintings leaves the
viewer being reminded of the Italian masters. Focusing on
Italian themes and scenery and classical mythology,
Waterhouse painted some of the most beautiful women and men
in his over 200 paintings.
Art
To Wear Necklace utilizes an oval porcelain cameo with image
reproductions of woman from Renaissance and Victorian
paintings. Handmade in the USA, these little works of art
provide the centerpiece of this design. A straightforward
beaded bezel frames the cameo giving the centerpiece an
old-world look. Two CZ trillions are bezeled and attached to
the centerpiece and the necklace using beaded jump-rings. A
unique approach to a beaded cap adds the extra touch to a
pearl drop, providing movement. The necklace is
Right-Angle-Weave with pearls ending in two beaded ball
