Description: |
Taking the portraits of Gustav
Klimt as a starting point, we look at the thought processes
and experiments that take a source of inspiration into
finished beadwork. The beading is a series of flat beaded
shapes, with lots of inspiration for how to create, plan and
combine them. Shapes can also be used to make 3D forms. Step
by step instructions are provided for each shape and
technique and students will be able to copy a class sample
or create their own combinations.
Colour work includes creating a
colour palette, and how to distribute colour to enhance the
beaded shapes.
