Description |
Come explore the potential of silver jump
rings and simple hand tools in this beaded chain
workshop. With a demonstration on how to wrap and hand-cut
your own jump rings, we will assemble pre-cut silver jump
rings into the age-old Byzantine chain. This sequential
chain pattern will then be embellished with gemstone beads
in a zigzag pattern, as seen on the first book’s
cover. Bracelets will be completed with student choice of
forged s-clasp or magnetic clasp; both techniques will be
demonstrated. This
is a project class with many valuable chain and bead
techniques along the way;
you will
leave with a bracelet on your wrist and a healthy hobby
under your hat. |
